Dragonstomper ?-??-82

This is an early prototype of Dragonstomper which was originally called Excalibur.   This version (which does not have a version number) is a very very early demo with little gameplay actually implemented.  The game only has one load (the Enchanted Countryside) and is more of an object placement demo than a real game.  The player starts out in front of the dragon (which isn't actually an enemy yet) and can walk into any object but nothing will happen other than displaying a message saying that you hit the object.  The map consists of randomly placed groupings of objects and buildings, but none of them have any function other than the Door (which randomly warps you somewhere) and Traps which act as they do in the final build.  There are no random encounters or items to pick up, so the player can only wander around and enjoy the strange scenery.

Prototype Differences
The game is called Excalibur
The game only consists of the countryside area (the first load)
The map is much smaller and mostly only goes north and south
The map consists of many random groups objects in close proximity
The barrier preventing the player from moving too far off the screen is missing from the south.  This means the player can keep moving south and into an empty land with no objects.
The map wraps around to the east and west
The bridge to the Oppressed Village is missing
The trees face the opposite direction
The dragon appears in the Enchanted Countryside but is just a regular object
There are structures in the game which were removed from the final version such as Mazes and Doors.  Doors will transport your character to a random location.

Your inventory show you are carrying game objects instead of items (tree, castle, church, maze, lake, tree, swamp, grass, trap, door).  Using any of these items has no effect.

There are no items in the game (keys, staves, rings, etc.)
Your character starts out with 10 str and 10 dex instead of 23.
You start out with no gold
Structures cannot be entered and have no function
Running into any object says 'You just hit a <object>' rather than '<object>'
The bug which makes some objects appear larger than they should is much worse in this version and can effect all the object on the screen!
Resetting starts your character back at the original starting spot instead of where you currently are.
It is not possible to lose dexterity
There is no sound or music
There are no enemies or random encounters
Traps can be in any place, not just around castles
There are no Pits, Huts, or Temples
There is no box around the interface
The blue bar at the bottom of the screen is missing
he green of the background extends all the way to the bottom of the screen
The grass is yellowish instead of green
The dragon is orange/brown instead of pink
The left side of the screen has not been blacked out to hide the HMOV bars
There is an extra HMOV bar at the very bottom of the left side
