Frogger

Original System: Atari 400/800

The Atari 5200 port of Frogger is same as the original Atari 400/800 version with the exception of the controls.  As the 5200's non-centering analog stick can make some games more difficult to play (such as Frogger), Parker Brothers decided to add the option of using the keypad to move Frogger.  If the keypad mode is chosen, by pressing 0, the player uses the 2, 4, 6, and 8 keys to move Frogger in each of the four cardinal directions.  This actually works better than you'd think, but having to rapidly press the spongy keypad buttons to scoot Frogger along can be a bit of a challenge sometimes.  The Atari 400/800 version has no such option.
