GORF

Original System: Atari 400/800

Programmed by Roklan for the Atari 400/800, CBS Electronics decided to publish the Atari 5200 port as Roklan had no interest in publishing 5200 games themselves. Unfortunately CBS didn't program the analog controls very well which makes the game extremely difficult to play.

The two versions are very similar with the exception of the title screen which has extra CBS Electronics text removes the reference to Roklan. The game demo is also slightly different in that it doesn't show zeros for the players score and for some reason doesn't show the mission number.

There also exists a rare disk based version of GORF for the Atari 400/800 which added a high score table and text intro along with some extra music to accompany them.
