Qix

Original System: N/A

Much like Dig Dug and Centipede, the Atari 400/800 and 5200 versions of Qix are completely different games.  The Atari 400/800 version most likely was programmed first and is less faithful to the arcade game, while the 5200 version is routinely noted as being almost arcade perfect.  Aside from their looks, one of the major differences between the two is how they control.  The Atari 400/800 version only utilizes one button so the player will draw a regular line whenever they move and a red line when the button is pressed.  In the 5200 version the play must press one of the two buttons on the 5200 control to draw a line, pushing away from a wall by itself doesn't do anything.
