GORF 2-28-82

This is a very early demo for GORF.  At this point the game is nothing more than a movement demo depicting the third level (Space Warp).  The player can move and shoot, but that's about it.  Interestingly the large GORF robot that drops the enemies on the first level is visible in the upper right hand corner.  Not only was this character dropped from the 2600 port, but it only appears on the first level not the third.  It appears that the programmers were playing around with including the character before dropping it.  It's appearance on this screen just reinforces that this prototype is merely a demo of what the final game might look like.

Prototype Differences
The display kernel is very unstable and the graphics bounce a lot
The lives counter is on the left side of the screen instead of centered
The score is on the right side of the screen instead of centered
The lives counter is on the same line as the score instead of underneath it
The 'space web' is blue instead of red
The GORF robot that drops the enemies on the first level is visible in the upper right corner
The shooting sound is different
