Breakout
/ Breakaway IV
I love the
artwork for Breakaway IV as it has such a cool ancient warfare
theme going on, while the Atari artwork went with a boring
sports theme. Oddly enough neither Atari nor Sears went
with the original arcade games theme of prisoners trying to
break out of jail. Since Breakout was such a
boring game graphically you had to think up some interesting
story to spice it up. I don't know about you, but I'd
rather think I was some soldiers shooting at castle walls than
two guys trapped in a room forced to play racquet ball to the
death. Winner: Sears
