The Art Of

Usually only of interest to hardcore or label variation collectors, Sears Tele-Games cartridges are an often overlooked part of the 2600 library.  This is a shame because while the games may be exactly the same as their Atari counterparts, the artwork is often very different.  Unfortunately most people never get to see this unique artwork because Sears boxes and manuals are hard to find, picture label carts are rare, and the most common games have the same artwork as the Atari version.  Many people collect for years without ever knowing of the alternate artwork until they accidentally stumble across a cart and think they've found a new game.  During my many years of collecting I've built up quite an interesting collection of this alternative artwork so I though I would put them together on a page with the original Atari artwork for easy comparison.  So without further ado, welcome to the Art of Sears Tele-Games.
